House Committee Hearing - Fisheries Bills

On April 17, the House Committee on Natural resources, Subcommittee on Water, Power, and Oceans [Chair, Representative Doug Lamborn (R CO–5)] will hold a hearing on three bills related to fisheries:

The Director of NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service, Office of Sustainable Fisheries, Alan Risenhoover, is scheduled to testify.

Senate Committee Hearing - MMPA

On April 25, the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation; Subcommittee on Oceans, Atmosphere, Fisheries, and Coast Guard [Chair, Senator Dan Sullivan (R-AK)] is scheduled to hold a hearing on reauthorization of the Marine Mammal Protection Act and potential changes to the statute. The Assistant Administrator of NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service, Chris Oliver, is scheduled to testify.
